The necklace is strung to 16 inches, which falls around the base of the neck. On a petite woman it will hang loosely around the neck falling at the collarbone. On a plus size woman, it may wear more like a choker.
These fine pearls are individually knotted on twin silk and finished with a 14-karat gold clasp. The knotting will protect your pearls from scratching and breakage and the clasp features a safety catch to keep your strand secure.
